On School #25 We Wish You a Happy Whoville

On December 23rd after performing their readers theater, my 3rd graders wanted to share their good cheer from Whoville with the rest of the school. So, they traipsed through the hallways, stopping in the Principal’s and Vice Principal’s offices to sing their best holiday Whoville song.

We wish you a Happy Whoville.
We wish you a Happy Whoville.
We wish you a Happy Whoville.
And a Happy Who Year!

They thought that was such fun. They sang to every Kindgergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade class before they dropped in on the nurse, art teacher, library aide, school secretary, and custodian.

During their afternoon pizza party, they watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas and then listened to the Nutcracker. And of course, every time they heard the Sugarplum Fairy, they just had to dance. So dance we did – and if we have our way, we’ll dance all the way to the new year.
