It's All About Me!

On School #22 Report Cards

I like to give out report cards. I like to share with the kids and their parents how well they are doing in Reading, Math, Writing, Science, Social Studies, and Handwriting.  I want the children and their parents to understand how well their child works and behaves in school.

I always conference with my children before I give their report cards to their parents. I want them to know where they did especially well and I want them to focus on areas that need to improve. I like the children to understand their report cards and the significance of their grades. I don’t want them to just want As or Bs. I want them to know how they got their grades and how they can always work towards getting good grades. Report cards are the thermometer of how a child is doing in school.

Here are some report cards envelopes. They show both me and the child. Notice how we are standing on my home planet, MARS. I love it!
